Keeping your family safe is our top priority. 

DROP OFF/PICK UP:  We ask parents to call or text to let us know they have arrived so that a team member can meet them in the foyer. Pick-up and drop-off will occur within the foyer where materials are placed for receiving children.

Parents are asked to take the child(ren)'s temperature each morning and report it in our ProCare Connect App.  Our staff randomly verify the temperatures of children.

Staff also report temperatures prior to their arrival.

Children with a fever over 99.9 degrees Fahrenheit or any symptoms of illness in the past 48 hours will not be allowed into the building. 

We have implemented new protocols including the ones below in order to be able to better serve our families. PVA Academy will continue to follow the CDC, Maryland and Montgomery County guidelines for safety protocols.

Sharing of toys, books and other materials is not permitted. Sanitization of high touch surfaces is performed throughout the day. 

Please maintain 6 feet of distance between all parties.

Parents, Team members, and children over the age of two are expected to wear a mask during pick up and drop off. 

Team members wear their mask at all times while in the classroom.

Children are prompted to wash their hands

• upon entering the classroom
• prior to and after eating
• after being outside
• and throughout the day.
